BOO SEEKA's new album Midnight Highlight is the third and most expansive record to date of euphoric indie-dance from the Mulubinba (Newcastle) based musician, with his palette of lustrous dreamscapes, smooth beats, summery synths and soulful vocals. Here Boo Seeka treats us to some current AMRAP favourites for Australian Music Is Bloody Great.

Royel Otis - Oysters In My Pocket

01 Royel

This is an instant earworm for me. I could not stop listening to it the first time I heard it. I'm still playing it at least three times a day. Gets me in the mood. Gets me in the vibe. Gets me ready for a show.

Forest Claudette - Violence

This one pulls all the heartstrings for me. [The] first time I heard this I actually had to pull the car over, it started making me tear up. It’s one of the best songs I’ve heard in a long time. Incredible voice, I can’t stop listening to this one.

Spacey Jane - One Bad Day

03 Spacey

These legends do not miss. Every song is epic, their live shows are incredible. If you haven’t seen them live, please go and do so.

Angus & Julia Stone - Cape Forestier

04 Angus

This one is probably the newest song that I’ve found. A track I like to listen to cooking dinner, having a glass of wine. Chilling out in the morning or the afternoon. It works for everything.

Beddy Rays - Silverline

05 Beddy

I haven’t seen these guys play live yet. It’s on my bucket list. Loving this new single, get your ears around it.

Boo Seeka - Let It Go

06 Boo

Remember to go out and support your favourite artists. Buy tickets to their gigs. Represent them with merch if you can. It's always important to keep them going. I'm going to end it here with one of mine, off the new album Midnight Highlight. See you all soon!
