Tour Essentials: These New South Whales give us the lowdown ahead of their Oz dates

It kicks off in WA at Mojos Thursday October 5.

Following the recent release of their debut album, You Work For Us, These New South Whales are gearing up for a trek around the country to peddle their wares. And part of those wares include latest single from the LP, Cholesterol Heart (God Bless Ya), which has just received the below, typically disquieting video treatment from the group. To celebrate the tour's commencement we helped the group remember what to pack, which you can check out below along with that full run of dates:

TOUR ESSENTIALS

Earplugs - Don't go deaf. You can't listen to all your friends' problems without any ears.

Bathers - Don't be the donkey swimming in your Bonds.

Mints - Always leave a fresh impression when close-talking to customers at the merch desk after the show.

Joggers - How are you going to maintain your rig when you're eating like a pig?

Cologne - Smell good. Always.

Postcards - One thing we've learned is that life is about relationships - go that extra mile.

House Keys - You won't need them, but clip them to your jeans with a carabiner. It looks fresh.

Virgin Velocity Gold Card - Priority boarding and an all you can eat buffet. Forget it and you're out with the shit munchers.

Phone Charger - Your phone is an imperative tool for communicating with customers.

Moisturiser - Keep your skin soft and supple in case customers want to touch.
