Premiere: Approachable Members Of Your Local Community are back with new single, Only Friend feat. Tamara Dream

It's the first single since their incredibly named EP, If There's Anything You Need, Please Don't Hesitate To Contact Us.

Around this time last year, we were introduced to the wild world of Approachable Members of Your Local Community, a Melbourne-based group which 1) seem to have more members every time we check up on them (maybe not true, but they do have a lot of members), and 2) are a pain in the ass to fit in our headlines, thanks to their incredibly long band name (we still talk about them though, because they're cool and we love them). After a round of singles over the last past twelve months well and truly captured the attention of basically everyone who needs to know, the Melbourne group topped off their career thus far with the release of their debut EP, the incredibly-named If There's Anything You Need, Please Don't Hesitate To Contact Us, a few months back. Now, however, they're back, not content with bidding goodbye to 2018 just yet.

Produced by Japanese Wallpaper and Oscar Dawson (Holy Holy) and featuring Melbourne's Tamara Dream, Only Friend is the first taste of Approachable Members we've gotten since their debut EP release and it's an absolute classic, bringing their fun and exciting sound back into the spotlight for another track that you'll fall head over heels with. Combining their catchy vocals with an instrumental full of whistles, claps and cowbells, Only Friend is a delightful single that according to Tamara Dream, came through the best possible medium - dance. "One night while I was on a long train ride, Josh sent me a demo the band had been working on, and by the end of the night, and lots of solo dancing in the train aisle, Only Friend had been born," she says. Catch 'em around the country at a few festivals over the New Years break - dates below.

Tour Dates:

Fri, October 5th - Arts Centre Melbourne, New Slang
Thu, November 29th - Jungle Love Festival, Sunshine Coast
Sat, December 8th - Hyperfest, Perth
Mon, December 31st - NYE on the Hill, Krowera
